- Cleansing Stream This is a 10 week parish-base discipleship course that empowers, encourages & releases believers into the fullness of their Kingdom inheritance in Christ. It will be held May and June 2012 on Sundays at 5 pm at Saint Peter's Church. Course Registration and payment ($95) 5pm 18 March. Welcome to St Peter's Weston!
You might be an Anglican new to our part of Canberra or perhaps you wouldn’t claim to be a Christian at all. Whatever, you are warmly welcome to our church. We’re all about having a loving relationship with Jesus Christ together, so come along and check us out!
Our two Anglican worship styles on Sunday morning are:
Traditional Communion Service @ 8 am &The 8 am service uses the prayer book and has hymns while the 10 am service uses PowerPoint presentations and has songs.
Contemporary Family Service @ 10 am.
Each service is relaxed and friendly and includes a sermon explaining the Bible. After worship we always have a cuppa - you can’t have proper church without tea and coffee!
During the week there is the option to meet in homes to study the bible and to pray together. We do lots of other things too: sometimes to do a special task together; other times just to have fun together.

We all try to chip in to help each other.
We are all different in the way we express our love for God and for each other, but we do share the same basic faith. We believe that God created the universe and that God cares about us more than we can imagine. Because he loves us so very much, God sent us his divine Son from heaven as a human baby named Jesus. We celebrate the birth of Jesus at Christmas. Jesus lived a life of absolute love for God and for us, and he gave his life as a sacrifice for us because, let’s face it, none of us has lived the life of love we ought to live. Although he died, Jesus came to life again with a new and transformed body. This is called the Resurrection. We celebrate Jesus' death and resurrection at Easter.
The Good News is that Jesus promised that if we believe in him, God will forgive us and give us eternal life. And that’s not all! God gives us his Holy Spirit to live in us and he even adopts each of us as his own son or daughter! Father God draws us together into a new spiritual family called Church. Of course the Christian church comes in an amazing variety of flavours so what sort is Saint Peter’s Church?
We are Anglican with a strong evangelical base and a mild charismatic aroma! Our primary purpose is to share in loving Jesus together, and with you!
